SNOWMOBILING IN THE ENDLESS MOUNTAINS

150 MILES OF GROOMED TRAILS
maintained by
NORTHEAST PA SNO-TRAILS, INC.

NE PA Sno-Trails (NEPAST) is a PA State Snowmobile Association member club dedicated to maintaining snow trails in the tri-county region of Susquehanna, Wayne and Lackawanna County.
NEPAST works with the Rail-Trail Council of NE PA and uses the D&H and O&W Rail-Trails as the main arteries in the trail system. They also maintain other trail right-of-ways to provide linkages between the railbeds, and links to B&B's, restaurants, gas stations and stores.

A trail pass, available by mail or at area retailers* is necessary to access the trail system.

Registration and insurance is required as per PA State Law. A trail map of the 150 mile snowmobile system is obtained with each trail pass. Trail access points are indicated. Forest City now has a large trailhead with trailer parking at the FC Industrial Park Rd and Rte 247. Please follow rules and regulations; stay on the trail; respect private property.

The snow trails are open dependent on snow cover. During snowmobile season, a snow 'hot-line' recording indicating conditions and timely messages can be reached at 1-570-448-1766.

Trail passes are $35 per sled.

NEPAST meets monthly at area restaurants, and sends out newsletters and announcements to members. Trails are maintained and groomed on a regular basis. Year-round volunteers are needed for general trail maintenance.

Trail pass information is available by contacting the Rail-Trail office at (570) 785-7245 or
